Under federal and state law, it is illegal to discriminate in the provision of housing!

The Federal Fair Housing Act as amended prohibits discrimination in housing based on the protected classes of: Race; Color; National Origin; Religion; Sex; Familial Status; Handicap.

Discrimination is prohibited in the rental, sale, financing, appraisal, and insurance of housing. This means that you should not be treated differently in any way!
